Westwood realises the error of his ways…

Having decided that his girlish screams of foul play made him look very slightly bitter, Ryder Cup loser Lee Westwood has embarked on an embarrassing charm offensive, in the hope that America will welcome the cuddly golfer back into their arms, as if nothing had ever happened.

“Let me say right now that I applaud America’s victory, Paul Azinger’s captaincy in general and the vast majority of the watching public. My comments about the hecklers and Paul’s geeing up the crowd before the event, were in no way intended to be an excuse or the words of an ungracious loser.” 

Yeah, right. Perhaps next time he should try winning and then berating the crowd.
