Tennis star robbed in Buenos Aires

Argentinean tennis player Guillermo Canas has been robbed while in Buenos Aires for the Davis Cup tie against Russia. Canas (pictured, left) was leaving his parents house in the suburb of La Matanza when his armed assailants struck.
The two attackers threatened the player and took one tennis racket, along with his identity documents, credit cards, some cash and a chain. They then fled the scene in the convertible Canas was driving. Canas had been at his parents’ home for dinner following Argentina’s victory over Russia.
We had heard of crime rackets, but this is a bit low…
