Tennis star will remain in retirement

Greg Rusedski has dismissed rumours that he is preparing to come out of retirement to save Great Britain’s Davis Cup team. David Lloyd, brother of Davis Cup captain John, fuelled rumours of Rusedski’s return earlier this week.
But the Canadian-born big server has moved to distance himself from the reports. “Greg has retired and he has no plans to return to professional tennis,” said the 35-year-old’s spokesperson Sharon Park. “He is focused on his role (as a talent scout) at the LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) and other commitments.”
