England gear up for next hotel stripper roasting session
The 2009 Six Nations is now less than six months away and Martin Johnson’s England are already plotting their assault on the Grand Slam. Following a troubled summer tour of New Zealand, England coach Johnson has some tough decisions to make, not least who will become his preferred fly half, golden boy Johnny Wilkinson or the young pretender Danny Cipriani. Providing they steer clear of injury, Johnson should also have pacey wingers David Strettle and Paul Sackey at his disposal, the likes of whom could prove invaluable come the big kick off in February.
Elsewhere, Wales are seeking to retain their Six Nations title and will have the obnoxious Gavin Henson on board once more. Their main challenge may well come across the channel, with France still smarting from their third place finish earlier this year. Ireland, Scotland and Italy will be fighting valiantly to avoid the wooden spoon, but will ultimately struggle to challenge for top spot.
