Miracle man heals six weeks ahead of schedule

England fly-half Danny Cipriani is set to make his Wasps comeback against Bath tomorrow evening after defying medical advice to return six weeks earlier than expected. The 20-year-old has been out of action since suffering a fractured ankle dislocation in the Premiership semi-final in May, ironically against Bath.
It is obviously fate to return against Bath. I can’t wait to be back. I am so excited,” said Cipriani. “I still have a lot of sharpening-up work to do but my times over 50 metres and 30m are my best so far. When I’m running or stepping the ankle feels 100%. I’m not yet match-fit, but that is what I need to work towards in the next couple of weeks.”
We are sure he will be pleased to be able to get some coverage in the back pages of the newspaper rather than the gossip columns!
