Freddie shows off Lancashire plans

Lancashire and England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff has been talking through plans to redevelop Old Trafford. The £70m refurbishment is aimed at bringing Test cricket back to Manchester after it was overlooked for next summer’s Ashes Test matches in favour of Cardiff.

“You go to some grounds around the world and they don’t have any character, they are like football grounds, but this seems to have kept some of the old traditions along with bringing in some pretty radical buildings as well,” said Flintoff. “I think it will look great.”

It looks like he has planned his run-up mark already!
