Spaniard sets English Rose’s heart aflutter

European Ryder Cup player Justin Rose has been giving the lowdown on his team-mates in his column for The Times. While we were interested in what he had to say about all of his colleagues, we noticed a sudden change in tone at the mention of Sergio Garcia’s name.

“One of the hottest players in the world. I hope I might play with him,” he drooled, before indicated that other members of the team might be invited to get a piece of the action too. “His game is perfect for foursomes because he is a brilliant driver.”

We are sure it was all meant innocently, Justin. He can hardly claim he was misquoted since he wrote the column himself.
