That’s a mighty big water hazard
Tiger Woods has designed a new 18-hole private course near the Mexican resort town of Ensenada, roughly 65 miles south of San Diego.
The 6,835-yard, par-70 course, Tiger’s first design in Mexico, will be the centerpiece of the new Punta Brava resort, not to mention Tiger’s first design in Latin America. Punta Brava will be ready to play - cowboy builders permitting - in 2011.
“As soon as I got on site, I was in,” Woods said of the spectacular oceanside location. “We tried to incorporate the viewscapes and rock formations to make sure that you felt like you were part of this amazing peninsula the entire time you play.”
More pics of the location after the jump:
Impressive, huh. Tiger, if you’re reading this - we can’t wait for the invite.

Is Tiger Woods designing any golf courses in the U.S. He has been endorsed and made all of his money in the U.S. but instead he decides to design courses outside the U.S. There’s something not right about that…
