US Open losing finalist consoled by huge cheque

As Serena Williams was being presented with her $1.5 million cheque for winning the US Open women’s final, Jelena Jankovic, her vanquished opponent, reportedly asked, “How much did I get?”

The answer? $750,000, cool cash for an hour of “work” that ended in a straight-sets defeat. “So now I have a lot of money to spend,” said the materialistic Serb in her post-match press conference. “Tomorrow is my day to go shopping.”

Shallow observation: one half of Jelena’s head is rather attractive (the left as you look at it), but the other is plain wrong.
